I was born and raised in a small town, Lititz, PA.  After graduating from Warwick HS in 1974, I moved to Nevada.  I have lived here for over 30 years.  I am officially a desert rat.  No snow for me.

I worked for government for nearly 30 years.  Yeah.  Don't ask me how that happened.  Somehow I stuffed this square peg into a round hole for nearly 30 years.  I pushed for changes and got bloody in the process.  I made changes and then I left and it nearly all reverted back.  Oh well. I am retired and I have my retirement (thanks Mom and Dad for the push)

I have tried this and that.  Then I got meningitis and ended up in the hospital for over a week last fall.  It was a mountain-top experience.  I no longer had all my energy.  I had to slow down.  I took that time to realize that I had been what I needed to be, who I needed to be to survive a tough job where I am sure I didn't belong, a bad first marriage, blah, blah, blah.  Anyway, time to get back to me, my true self, my authentic self.

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That's why we call it 'The Present.'

And that's what I am working on, every day.  First, I wanted to work in something that is my passion.  I decided I wanted to:  work at home, have every day be casual day and work with my dog.  Tada!  Sleepover Rover!!  I am the local LV rep for the company and am building our network of pet hosts.  I also host client dogs in my home.  I love it!

I am still working on designing my perfect day of yoga, meditation, healthy food, gardening, craffting, reading, journaling.
